FM-2030

FM-2030 was one of the founders of contemporary transhumanism. He was born in Iran in 1930 as Fereidoun M. Esfandiary and traveled all over the world. He later became a professor of futurism and changed his name to FM-2030. His writings emphasize optimism about the future, human progress, and the future evolution of human beings. After contracting cancer, he was cryonically suspended in 2000.
